Leningrad, summer in the early 80s. Trafficking Lou Reed and David Bowie LPs, the underground rock scene sprouts in the anteroom of Perestroika. One day, Mike, a musician with a certain reputation, and his beautiful wife Natasha meet the young and enigmatic Viktor Tsoï. Together, they will change the fate of rock and roll in the Soviet Union.
