Remo Manfredini is a legend in horse racing, but his eccentric and self-destructive behavior begins to overshadow his talent. Abril, a jockey and Remo's partner, is expecting his child and must decide between continuing her pregnancy or continuing to race. They both race horses for Sirena, a jockey-obsessed businessman.

One day Remo suffers an accident, disappears from the hospital and wanders without identity through the streets of the city. Sirena wants him dead or alive while Abril tries to find him before it's too late.
