Structured like a road movie, this documentary follows Graciela Iturbide as she searches for the places and people who inspired some of her most iconic images. From the vast Sonoran Desert and the Seri community of Desemboque, to the markets of Juchitán in conversation with Zapotec women, the cholas of Los Angeles, and the solitude of Lanzarote’s volcanic landscapes, each reunion sheds light on the way memory, loss, and visual identity intertwine in her work.
