Hasta un momento más tarde is a documentary that portrays the relationship between Romayne Wheeler, an American pianist who decided to live in the Sierra Tarahumara, and Romeyno Gutiérrez, his Rarámuri godson, who discovered the piano through him and whose destiny changed forever. Through a patient and close camera, the film observes how affection, music and the search for belonging unite and, at the same time, tension their paths. Both try to be accepted in places where they were not born, and in that attempt, differences emerge that drive them apart. An intimate portrait about complex bonds, shared dreams and the silences that sometimes speak louder than words.
