Set in the future, on the island of Borinquen (the original, indigenous name by which Puerto Rico is popularly known), Luna Rosa: The 7th Ascension of Atabey narrates Zur'na's epic journey. The unexpected arrival and immediate kidnapping of his brother will disrupt Zur'na's quiet and secluded life. In the company of Vyeñu - a neighbor whose loquacious character contrasts with the stoic and silent presence of the woman - she will embark on an adventure to rescue her missing brother. However, during her stay in the colony controlled by U.S. imperialist forces, she will also discover the intricacies of a complex web of power that enslaves her people.
