RESURRECTION
The legendary waterfall of El Salto de Juanacatlán was once known as "the Mexican Niagara", a source of happiness and sustenance for the ancient peoples on its shores. Three decades ago its waters became poisonous, destroying everything in their path, including the memories of the fishermen and peasants who saw their world disappear.

"With raw, nostalgic elements and very severe political criticism, Polgovsky shows the decadence of a people, without being pitiful, and encourages environmental awareness."
